Position: Remote Sensing and GIS Specialist
Location: Hyderabad
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Remote Sensing, Geographic Information System, Geology, Hydrology, Spatial Information Technology, or any other relevant course.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in image processing, GIS mapping, and related works.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize remote sensing and GIS tools to process and analyze geospatial data.
- Conduct image processing, interpretation, and analysis of satellite and aerial imagery.
- Create and maintain detailed GIS maps, databases, and spatial models.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide geospatial solutions for various projects.
- Implement advanced spatial analysis techniques to derive meaningful insights from geospatial data.
- Manage and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in remote sensing and GIS technologies and recommend their application to improve processes.
- Effectively communicate findings and present geospatial information to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Strong academic background with an M.Sc. in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in remote sensing and GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, ENVI, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated experience in image processing, data analysis, and geospatial modeling.
- Familiarity with various types of geospatial data sources, including satellite and aerial imagery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Experience: 5+ years in image processing, GIS mapping, and related works.
Location: Hyderabad
